Not sure how long you'll be in Indianapolis but there is also another casino in Anderson, IN called Hoosier Park which is only about 25 NE of Indianapolis off I-69.
One good thing is that it's very easy to get to and you can see it from the interstate. I didn't eat there so can't personally comment on the food but a friend of mine said what she had was decent. Size wise, it's bigger than Grand Vic and Belterra (any casino is bigger than Belterra.lol) but smaller than Hollywood. I guess I'm partial to my favorite casino in New Buffalo, MI. I just wasn't impressed but you may enjoy it. No one seemed very friendly there either.
I was only there for a few hours and slots were a little tight but maybe things have changed since then. It's very bright in there and I like the darker, cozier casinos. I didn't care for it but several people I know like it. I have been to Indiana Live once but it was also a couple years ago.
